He’s joining us fresh off being announced as Michelin Guide Best Sommelier of the Year! But he’s so much more than just a Somm (although obvs, he’s a pretty damn great one!), he’s also co-founder of Contento Restaurant in East Harlem and Beaupierre Wines & Spirits in Hell's Kitchen. He’s a pioneer for accessibility in the wine industry and when he’s not on the floor pouring wine, or in the shop recommending bottles he can be found at charity Wheeling Forward; an organization working across all forms of disability to tackle some of the most underserved and challenging areas of need in the disabled community.
Brianne began working in the beverage alcohol industry while pursuing a graduate degree at Boston University. She worked part-time in a retail wine and spirits shop before deciding to leave her graduate program and work full-time selling wine and spirits. Brianne soon returned to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio where she spent nearly ten years working for a large wholesale distributor, first as an On-Premise Sales Representative for craft beer, spirits, and wine and subsequently in several different sales management roles. She earned her Diploma from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and is a certified Wine and Spirits educator for their programs. Brianne joined the Constellation Academy team as a Director of Sales Training and Wine Education in 2014. She is presently a candidate for the Master of Wine qualification, which is a title held by less than 500 people globally.
